Introduction to your EAP
Everyone is seeking happiness. It is why we love, work and play. It is the reason we get up in the morning and why we invest ourselves in special people and tasks.
But in our hectic, noisy, modern world everyone needs a little help at one time or another in finding happiness.
Your employer recognizes the need for a place for you to solve some of life’s problems. That’s why your employer provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a benefit to you and your family.
Who uses the EAP?
Any employee or household family member who needs help with a personal or family issue that is keeping them from being happy. A list of these problems might include depression, grief, couples conflict, alcohol or drug abuse, child rearing difficulties, aging relative concerns, legal and financial complications.
To get in touch with an EAP counselor all you have to do is pick up the phone and call 1-800-441-1327. You may get what you need from a phone conversation with the licensed and trained counselor. In most incidences employees want to sit down and talk face to face with the counselor. Making an appointment requires no preauthorization and there is no co-payment, no claims forms and no lengthy paperwork to fill out. The program is absolutely FREE for you and your household family members.
The EAP is completely confidential. No one knows you are using the program unless you tell them.
If personal problems are keeping you from being happy, consider calling your EAP. It is there for you 24 hours a day, everyday.
