Wayne Corporation’s EAPs are coordinated with an employer’s existing human resources philosophy and practice and are designed to include:
- A fully-licensed, trained and insured staff to assist employees and their household members with personal problems and to assist managers and supervisors dealing with declining performance of employees.
- A personal EAP Counselor assigned to manage the program and to work with each employee and their household family members, supported by other Wayne Corporation staff members and contracted affiliates.
- An established and credentialed referral network of licensed mental health professionals to support employees in the area they live.
- Assistance to employees and their household family members for any type of personal or family problem.
- Assessment and counseling sessions for each employee or household member needing help (per problem per year. Sessions are available face-to-face, telehealth or telephonic.
- Crisis intervention.
- Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD).
- Toll free phone number for unlimited consultation and assistance.
- 24-hour availability for employees, supervisors and human resources.
- On-site or teleconference orientation meetings for employees to describe the EAP benefit and explain the policy and procedures for its use.
- On-site or teleconference training seminars for managers and supervisors in effective use of the EAP to assist employees and improve job performance.
- Supervisor Reference Guides for each manager and others with supervisory responsibilities.
- Work-life focused seminars focused on a variety of topics (e.g. Stress Management, Communicating with Others, Coping with Change).
- Consultation with managers, supervisors and Human Resources in dealing with job performance problems of an employee, department or work group.
- Enhanced Legal and Financial consultation and referral services.
- Enhanced Elder and Child Care consultation and referral services.
- Daily Living and Work-Life research and referral services.
- EAP website resources that include; work life, legal, financial, emotional well-being, stress, health and personal growth. Includes 64 Soft Skills Training Courses.
- Monthly webinars focused on work-life topics.
- Promotional/communication material such as brochures, customized posters, wallet cards, employee and supervisory newsletters, which are designed to create awareness and encourage use.
- Consultation with management on policy issues such as EAP, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual harassment and violence in the workplace.
- Client Feedback Surveys.
- Quarterly statistical and quality control evaluations of EAP with management to discuss utilization and trends associated with the program.
